Hello friends, it's been awhile, so help me with a decision

In short I am debating between 2014-2015 in all makes.

Having been without my CTT that we all probably remember for about a year, I'm thinking something new....

Quite different vehicles, but since I swap vehicles faster than I should, help me find something that maybe I want to keep for a bit more miles than 50K

X5 50, with full M package, (not the engine but all the sports options) Since the X5M won't be out for 15 months I was told yesterday. around $96K

Range Rover Autobiography obviously with the autobiiography it's the SC one with full options. about $100K

Or the 2014 or wait until the 2015 of either the CTT, or CTTS. This will be a similar build as mine previously, maybe different leather color, but very similar.
Either $140K-$160K depending on model.

I know the main differences, and part of me just says get something new since I already had the CTT< but I Still lean towards that... or maybe the CTTS 2015, or there is a 2014 CTTS sitting brand new 12 miles for about $15K less....

Really torn.

Could do the brand new 2015 CTT, and then do the engine tunes and stuff, so get the CTTS for 1/10 the price.... still not sure...

Lend me your thoughts.....

Wow Jace you certainly put a lot of choices on the table there

I just wanted to jump in though I can't give you much of an opinion on the others but I remember sitting in an X5 being so bored with the interior compared to the Cayenne that the decision was made quickly. I am so in love with my CTT that I am biased.
RAK got a 14' CTTS and has owned countless cars and probably has a strong opinion. Good luck.

Yes I love my CTTS. Unbelievable combo of power and luxury..
Only reason to wait for MY 2015 CTTS IS PDK which is unlikely.
Of course I luv my 2014 G 63 Hmmmmmm

I am biased as well. looked at them all as well.
got a CPO 2014 CTT with 8k and I am testing a Hamann tune on mine now..
Absolutely love it and my brother has the new Range rover. They are fast, but truly not in the same class --- from a driver connection point that is. its like driving a bently vs an aston martin,

I've been intrigued by the RRS Autobiography too. It's a lot of car for the price and I like the new styling. But, if I am being totally honest, I doubt it will hold a candle to the CTT for pure driving pleasure. If you want something different, I'd try the RRS. You can always jump to the next full upgrade for the Cayenne in 17-18.

Definite no on the x5 for me. I don't like either the exterior or interior of the current version. Both other options are well ahead

Macan Turbo too small? I think that would be a great choice

I'm really just bored with them all. I love the CTT I built, it was a great car, but I have lost the excitement about these beasts it seems. Just trying to feel something for any of them....

In the same boat as you. We are picking up an Ebony Edition Range Rover SC this weekend at Flat Irons RR. The Cayenne is awesome, but the RR really is an exquisite ride. It is somewhat like apples to oranges though. No, the RR wont compete with the TT in the handling department. But the RR isn't built for it. After driving the RR it really changed our minds. Very nice ride. Plus, the RR, the 13&14s anyway, aren't nearly as numerous as the Cayenne.

I assume the 100K Autobio you are looking at is the Sport. The Autobio Range Rovers are all bringing 140K.

Ya it's the sport. Big RR just way to boaty.
Might have ruled out the X5.
Still torn CTTS or CTT or new flare RRS auto biography.....
I want superior luxury and superior driver sport......
Bah

I’d go Cayenne all the way. I was on the same boat about a month ago. It was a toss up between the X5, RR & the Cayenne. The RR just didn’t do it for me. I Took both X5 & Cayenne out for a test drive & I have to say the Cayenne sold me on all aspects. It’s way sportier (IMO) than the X5, but going back on this thread you already know that

I got the X5 for my wife. Delivery should be any day now. I’m enjoying my Cayenne! I look for any excuse to be on the road.

drove the X5 M package, since new M isn't out yet, drove the new RRS autobiography, and I just didn't feel the quality in either of them, and didn't feel the drive I was after either.
Mayyyybe if the RRS had a true air suspension that you could adjust between comfort, normal, sport, that might have swayed me, but it just felt to basic, even the fully optioned autobiography that they had for me to drive.

I liked the roomy feel, it felt fairly sturdy when driving, the dynamic mode, kept the nose from dipping too much when hard turning back and forth, but things like the roof liner, seat comfort, even the meridan upgraded stereo, none of it felt yummy.

Maybe I am just blah, about all vehicles, but when I sat back in the CTTS, and have heard about a few changes coming on the new refresh, I am 99.9% sure that I am just going to order a new CTT or CTTS.

I might be swayed to the RRS, just because its something different, but I think the day I'd take possession I'd wish I had the CTT that I was going to order....

So, we will see. CTT or CTTS. ;

I was also going to suggest the Tesla Model X although you'll have to wait till 2015 for that. I have a Model S (P85+) about 2 months now. It makes me think I have an understanding of the future of cars. Silent and breathtaking acceleration. I would likely have range anxiety on a longer trip due to scattered super-chargers so I'm keeping my beloved CTT for long trips. Range on mine is about 250 miles so it's not bad. Full "tank" each morning I choose.

If you were disappointed in the handling aspects of the RR, then it comes down to the X5M or the CTT. I think the CTT has the edge here, but you cannot deny the value of the X5M in comparison.
