Via google, i found a 2011 958 Porsche Cayenne owners manual (p. 275) which states:

Tightening torque for wheel bolts: 118 ftlb. (160 Nm).

seems like its a bit excessive, I noticed that also when I read the manual. I torque mine with a snap-on torque wrench at 100lb/fts. all my other cars usually in the 80-85 range. Ive done 140mph in my cs and my wheels didn't come off at 100ft lbs. lol

Well, older alloy rims were softer. You had to stop in the 80-85 ft-lb range to avoid cracking the rims. Newer alloys likely have higher tensile strength. As far as the newer spec, I think they're erring on the side of safety (aka lawyer-speak). The 2011 Touareg I had before the Cayenne was even worse, they spec 133 ft-lbs. I too only have a torque wrench that goes up to 100. Aggravating.

I wanted to check mine (2010 CTT UK car) to see if a knocking noise is a wheel that has worked loose after recent refurb (although it sounds like a ball joint / bush tbh) but cant find the wrench anywhere in the car, I dont have a space saver spare and it appears no jack or wrench, is that right?

Thanks
