I think the question is what you intend to do with it.
It looks similar to my build which I think is a good setup. If, however, you were planning to do any towing then I don't see the tow package listed and parts are about $2k. If you are planning to do serious towing or frequently carry heavy loads in the back, then the air suspension is a very nice thing to have for the load leveling feature.

Don't need to tow, so OK there. I figure if I have front/back proximity sensors, don't need the camera. You guys loving your diesel? I had a q7 diesel, loved it, but looking for something a little more fun to drive.
Loving our diesel here.Gas mileage and range are rock solid,Push Sport Mode button and it goes into beast mode! Absolutely no regrets...The backup camera is nice though even with the sensors.

Personally I've gone with the "learn the damn dimensions and pay attention" route and ignore the POS parking system. Amazingly I've yet to run into anything
If I listened to it I'd never be able to park anyway. They cram cars in tighter around here than airlines do seats. I find the sensors overly paranoid too. One of these days I'll get off my butt and disable the damn things.

So, will cars prior to that model year be grandfathered in? Can't see putting a back up camera on my '66 mustang

My wife and I have really enjoyed our CD; it's her daily driver. We have owned it a little over two years and just hit 14k miles. It's a very well rounded vehicle and we are very happy with the purchase.
Maybe try pushing the button to turn the sound off? I, too, have found it to be a bit "paranoid."

I looked it up this weekend and the fuse for ParkAssist is (of course) shared with some more important functions. So I can't just pull the fuse to disable the POS
If it would remember that I did that across restarts I wouldn't have a complaint. It doesn't though so to have to reach up and turn it off every time I backup or pull in somewhere to park is obnoxious.
