Configured a Cayenne Turbo Today.

I ordered a Cayenne Turbo today. My dealer didn't have an allocation available until at least January but yesterday I received a call they traded an incoming launch Turbo for an allocation. I had to spec the car today as it is probably going to lock Friday. This is my configuration. I only have until tomorrow to change anything.

I will add secondary cat bypass pipes & GIAC tune before delivery. Fortunately I have a very mod friendly dealer.

The only things I might add are a few of the electronic options. Any thoughts?

Sounds extraordinary.
You have comfort lighting package, is led option still separate?
And I assume you prefer the 14 way seats over the 18 ways?
Killer order!

Very very nice.
No gloss black wheels?? The yellow calipers would really
you will find IMHO that the std gearshift even in carbon fiber is inferior to the exclusive aluminum shifter in build and design. Dont know if ordering that messes up the CF int pkg as that was not an option in 2014. May just want to add it after build and delivery

Very nice spec'd CTT. I have to agree with RAK on the gear shifter. Looking forward to seeing pics of that grey deviated stitching. Was deviating stitching available on the new steering wheel?

The LED lighting is not available as a stand alone option but is included in the Premium Package Plus. I've had the adaptive seats in a few 911 Turbos and would not have one without them. In the 911 you "drop in" the seat as opposed to climbing over in the Cayenne. We already have 2 2011 Cayenne Turbos and went through the "testing" process when we bought them. Just thought the ingress & egress was easier with the 14 ways. Also the bolsters don't wear near as much.

I have the Black Sport Edition with yellow calibers on my 2011 Cayenne Turbo so just wanted something different. I may have them powder coated black. Best of both worlds - new wheel & gloss black. I know the shifter you are talking about but forgot all about it. It is far superior to the carbon shifter. I will probably order it and add it after receiving the Cayenne. I am going to speak to MACarbon to see if they can inlay carbon where the leather is. Thanks for the reminder.

I specifically asked about the steering wheel and my dealer called the Porsche rep. He said no.

170,750.00

We have not talked price. I've purchased over 20 Porsches from my dealer since my first in ~1979. We'll get together but it will be at a very nice discount. I always work up from invoice as opposed to down from msrp. It will be in dollars not percentage. We will work out how much they need to make on the car. I order lots of options on cars and don't feel they need to make more on selling me 170,750.00 Cayenne than if I ordered a 120,000.00 Cayenne.
