pasm vs air / wheels
On my ordered SEH I'm still on the fence about just getting the stock PASM, or splurging extra to add the Air Suspension (testcar I drove was equipped with air susp and 19" wintertires, and I liked it). I have another car for sportyness, so I'm looking for comfort, safety and silence in this one.
But it also has to look good. So the lower I can get, the bigger the wheels I can get (min 20", max 21" though), without compromising the comfort, ride quality, road noise, the better I will like it. So I'm still edging towards Air Suspension, allthoug no offroading is planned.
What wheels are concerned, stock 18" will be the winterwheels.
For summerwheels I'm torn between:
- stock 20" RS Spyder wheels
- 20" or 21" caractere graphite mat polish wheels
- 20" or 21" caractere mirror polished silver wheels
- 20" or 21" cargraphic GT/GT-R wheels
- 21" cargraphic performance17 wheels
If anyone has pics of their cars with these, or any other I must see wheels, feel free ...

I pick up my SEH in about 10 days. I have the 21" turbo wheels and air suspension. I will post some picks and let you know my thoughts. Buy have read all positive things about having the air suspension.
- stock 21" Cayenne Sport Edition
And I particularly seem to like the look of these ones too:

I have 21's with air and the ride is just fine. In fact it was a huge relief from the ride in the 997.2 I had before the Cayenne.
The ride quality is really subjective and largely influenced by the road conditions you drive on. I have read many owners in the NY/NJ area who say they would not go higher than a 20" because their roads are littered with potholes which damage wheels easily. Others live in areas with well maintained roads and have had no issues with 21"/22". I live in the SF Bay area and the roads aren't awesome but also not as bad as NY/NJ area. I have had no problems on my 21", but I also have air suspension. I drive on the lowest setting and usually in normal suspension. On freeways I do kick it into sport mode, so addictive!
