Finally got to pick up my Cayenne S eHybrid
If you can find a local Panamera SEH to drive, that will give you much of the sense of what the eHybrid part drives and feels like. The rest of the characteristics are nearly identical to the regular Cayenne.
Called around for an C-SEH to drive. Nothing available and very limited allocations as well. Not sure how you scored such a great discount on an ordered car but I can't get anywhere close to your deal on an ordered SEH. Dealer said they are just not producing many from factory - 8% of total Cayennes are SEH?
Without knowing the reason for this, first thing that comes to my mind is that US dealers are ripping you guys off !
I did get the infotainment package. The apps part is worthless, but the Bose and XM are a must. I would consider those two ala carte if that saves some $.
Also I noticed the sports package (which was not available when I ordered) has the Chrono and PASM with Air for less then I paid for them individually, plus you get some exhaust tip option in that package. If you wanted to save some $, you may consider skipping the Chrono, not sure it adds much value (for me at least). It gives you a stop watch and some MFD track functions and adds a sports plus button for more aggressive shift points etc. I have it...but not sure it was worth $770.
I would also add the surround view camera option (which wasn't available for me)
Here is my config (note that it updated some items/pricing since options have changed slightly in the last 9 months).

I was set on getting the 7.2 as a 'must-hav'e but now I'm wondering. 1.5 hours to charge with 7.2 vs 2.5 hours at 3.6kW on a Level 2 charge? I can charge at work and at home (both L2) so maybe I don't really need it??? Nice to have but it is limiting my choices looking for deals on a 2015 car.
You definitely wont find a '15 with a 7.2kw charger, in dealer stock. But if you only charge at home and work, dont spend the $ on it. Its about $800 and that will take a long time to recover by charging faster at public (free) stations....if you will ever even do that. I do that a lot in my routine.
Finding a '15 configured the way you want will also be a long shot..especially a SEH. Most of the ones I have seen are pretty basic.
To your question regarding the SC, where you referring to the Sport Chrono (sport + button)? technically, there is a more aggressive program with it (shift pattern and rpm pattern, as well as automatically switching the tranny into S+ at the same time). That said, I dont really know how much difference that is over the regular sport button. If you think you will be getting on it often, then I would say get it....if just rare occasion (like me), then Sport is probably fine...

Robotpedl---sweet looking ride!! Very cool.
Couple Q's for ya:
What %tint and type of tint did you go with? Any more pics (side view)?
Those brake calipers are da bomb!
Are they the same size/type as the 'usual' caliper/pads (non-ceramic)?
Enjoy the ride

The calipers are stock eHybrid Green and are the same size as the stock Cayenne S...just cooler looking

The SC (Sport Chrono) question was really in reference to the how it changes the driving dynamic on the SEH. THE SC (Sport and Sport Plus) button on my 991 makes a big difference but probably not necessary on the Cayenne SEH.
