2016 Turbo or GTS...

Coming from a very very well loaded '12 Cayenne S and looking to replace with a Turbo or GTS in the fall. Anyone think this V6TT is going to be a huge letdown compared to the V8TT? I did the costing differences and I am about $25k differential between the two cars. I could definitely keep the money difference and use it for something else.. hehe.

A V6 won't sound worth a damn IMO.

I am going to go drive all 3 and see what one really makes the most sense. Honestly if I can get away with a similarly equipped S to ours just with the V6TT I will be very pleased. My wife drives it 60% of the time and frankly would rather keep the extra 60k for a Turbo and dump it into a Cayman GT4.

Not sure I agree the V6TT couldn't sound good... Heard some Macan videos that were pretty mean sounding.

So I went by the dealership yesterday and honestly the Macan Turbo sounded incredible for a turbo. I am most likely going to save the 25k and get a GTS - I have setup a test drive in the spring before we lock our order.

terryb is infamous around these parts
The GTS handles brilliantly for an SUV - real noticeable lack of weight in the front compared to the V8s. Plus with the GTS you can give it the GTS look - mine is Carmine Red with the full GTS Alcantara interior package - very nice indeed

Drive both - but I don't think the GTS will be a huge let down by any stretch of the imagination
