DIY - 958 PCM3.1 Video Interface and Android Module Installation
That's interresting!
Didn't know the Sirius module would be in place....
This step is the most heart faint step, if something goes wrong, I guess the PCM won't power up.....

I wouldn't splice too many wire, if you want everything to be reversible.
Same here, I tuck the stereo cable thru the brim of the armrest console, then slips the rest in between the carpet and the bottom of the center console.
Totally reversible....
Totally reversible....
Everything goes through a connector, somewhere. No doubt that lead from the armrest goes through one at some point. Trace the wires, find the connectors and then decide how to best integrate with the wiring. I mean, if you're going to go through all this effort it seems kinda foolish to skimp on the last step.
The whole mod, I would say is fairly easy, no split wire.
My experience is that breaking a wire bundle can cost alot and time consuming.
Without proper tool, it might not be easy to re-pin the wires.
Especially if you DIY this project.

I tried to remove the glove box but it was stuck on the right side. I couldn't figure out what was holding it up. I also had a tough time with the A/C plumbing for the glove box. I'll try the glove box when I have time.
This project looks very interesting! Excellent work!
I live in Norway, and the FM band is now closing this year. The only possibilities to hear radio is by using DAB+ or internet streaming. As such, I would really like to find a usable solution to integrate DAB+ to the PCM3.1. Does the Android interface have DAB+, or is there any way to integrade DAB+ with the Android or multimedia interface?

Would an universal Android USB DAB+ adapter work with the Android unit, like this one:
http://www.seicane.com/high-quality-...tional-antenna
https://www.solidrop.net/product/ext...avigation.html
or this one:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Joyi...693146746.html
The Android DAB+ adapter comes with software, and I would be great if this could be a solution.

I have the 11 Speaker BOSE system. PCM3.1 with V2.64 software.
If i order this kit. will all speakers work even though it is only a stereo input? I suppose it would be the same as plugging a normal 3.1m jack to jack cable in to the AUX?

Look at my post #32, the camera removal is at the "initial setup icon"
Yes, the stereo output to all speakers.
