I am trying to reinstall the center air duct and air pipes. I am using porsche workshop manual for most of my work. However I just can't figure out where the airpipe shields go and what orientation. I also have trouble installing the center duct seals. Can someone post pictures of the air pipe shield and center duct seals and or give me some tips on how to do it... Thanks in advance.
I remember them from when my bumper was swapped, but I forget how they go in. Really I never figured out their purpose, but I suppose there is one.
I can't get a glimpse of them with the bumper installed and buttoned up. If I get home before dark I'll pull the trim over the radiator and see if that gives me a view for you.

That'd be great...Thank you!!!!
I have been searching on internet and can't find a single picture showing how the sound absorber on the air pipes are installed.
The two big lumps appear to have a key'd hole - which if you look at your pipes - there is a long key molded into it, with a lump on the front which might be to keep the rubber goobers from sliding down the pipes.
Top up? Top down? Perhaps trying to fit them might tell the story. I'm guessing the pipe goes through the handcuff looking part, and the V shaped slotted part fits the bend in the pipe where it goes vertical.
The small square lumps? Dunno - but maybe they'd become obvious if you fit the big lumps to the pipe.
I'm guessing this is a car receiving body work that you never disassembled? Or that part was crushed when disassembled?

Doesn't look like I can see anything with the bumper in place. Sorry

I always take pictures when disassembling so this doesn't happen. The car was in an accident and receiving body work. The front bumper, center duct and the radiator supports are being replaced. The air pipes are ok but the shock absorbers went missing in the process.
One thought - it appears that area might be visible with the headlights removed - which can be done fairly easily on the Cayenne (needed tool is right in the spare-tire well..) If you can get someone with an /S to do that for you and take some cell-phone pics, it might reveal where the parts go.

Good thought. Unfortunately I don't know anyone with Cayenne S. I am new to this forum as well... I see a White Cayenne S in my neighborhood. But I doubt if the lady would allow a stranger to remove the headlights to look at parts.. Still searching... found some pictures which shows the sound absorber better.. gonna try this tonight..
