How to pry off overhead / rearview mirror for radar hard wiring?

Back to the OP's question, how do you get the big black plastic thing off the mirror?
If you can do that, you can probably use an Invisicord type power cord on the pins of the rear view mirror's wiring harness. Then, just drill a small hole in the plastic cover for the wire and you are done.
