$1.79* and free shipping: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Car-door-lock-cover-4PCS-Door-Striker-Cover-for-Porsche-Cayenne-911-Cayman-Boxster-Macan/1975720086.html
* - they were on sale when I ordered them - $1.66 for 4. Not bad at all, about $0.41/each.
PS: Plus 40HP, 10HP per door..
Next review will be of the Chinese sourced wiper blades - whenever I decide my old ones are dead.. The blades are identical to the Porsche sold ones.. front and rear, for a total of about $19.00 (big money - but since each blade from Porsche is about 2X that.. figured I'd see how they work.)
Good lord, why would you ever have to replace that!?
i like What your selling though...I'm taking notes!
They weren't replaced - they were never there before. The Cayenne didn't come with them. The exposed screws of the stiker plate were out in the world to be seen by anyone opening the door.
I'm guessing you don't own a 958 yet? If you do, or next time you're out looking at one - count the number of door seals between the striker plate and the outside world. It might just surprise you.
Someone added them. I'm gonna guess I'm not the only customer for the place making them. Maybe you can buy them from Porsche as a Tequipment part for $100/set? I'll have to look..
Couldn't find it. Couldn't find it in the general parts. I think these are exclusively from the Chinese manufacturer.
