Coolant leak

I started my car up yesterday to let it run after getting home from a trip. All of a sudden the coolant flashing light caught my eye and the temp was in the red. Shut it off immediately and popped the hood. Noticed the level was low. Was about to top it off and noticed a coolant puddle under the car. Looked under it and it was coming from the passenger side pan area. While this doesn’t tell me exactly the side it’s coming from from the pan catching it and I’m on a slight incline. So I took a look under the hood and felt around behind the intake manifold for any wet areas. Nothing. I then pulled the intake manifold to gain access to the valley and to see even better in the back area. The valley was full of coolant. Inspected the pipe that runs under it and no leak. Inspected the small hard plastic Y line that also runs under it and no leak. Moved to the back of the engine to inspect the glued in port and it was secure with no leak. Looked at the coolant valve and it also doesn’t seem to be leaking. I then decided to remove the lower pan and crawl under it. The leak was coming from where the case meets the trans. Indicating the overflow of the coolant from the valley. I’m going to clean the coolant out today and top off the system to pressure test it to try and find the leak but, I wanted to see if anyone else has ever had a
leak in this area before. I’ve only read of the rear cross pipe leaking. I don’t think it is bc I can’t see a way for it to leak into the valley.

Status?

Did you ever solve this? I have a leak from the same place and am getting ready to get to the pipes and water pump. If you discovered something different, I'd really like to hear it.
