Coolant Leak?

I came outside and my car had a little pile of what I believe was coolant on the ground. It looks like it was coming from this rubber part under the car.

Does anyone know what this is or maybe how much something like this will cost to repair?

I checked the coolant level in the expansion reservoir and it was sitting on the Min line so I'm assuming it either a slow leak or it just started happening.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I've had a similar small leak like that when it got really cold last year. Apparently the aluminum piping and the clamp/strap on the rubber have different expansions rates in the cold which allows a small amount of coolant out.

Never ever do that good way to mess up your engine and water pump. If the leak continues just fix it the right way. It's in a good place atleast shouldn't be too hard.

It will work and at the shop i guy had a very nice boxster that did the samething 2 years ago well after 10k he now has a new engine from the samething over time it clogged the water pump and over heated the head. So it can happen it's just when.

All because he had a water pump leak a small leak.

Pelvic Tornado : You will found some information here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...d-housing.html

Look at the fourth post. The part#15 should also be ordered with 16 and 18…Easy job but lots of coolant will come out….
