Anyone submit their order for the 2019 Redesigned Cayenne?
Since we don't have a new sub forum for the new Cayennes yet, I figured I'd put it here.
Looks the 2019 Cayenne S hits shores 2/23/19.
Cayenne non S is 10/17/18.
Cayenne Turbo is 12/21/18.
I'm speccing my new CTT out...I'm hoping they update the build list with more options in the following weeks since it just got released...

It's actually been on the Porsche website as the configurator for 4-6 weeks now.
They FINALLY got some nice taillights on them!
I played with it for a CS just for fun because they finally have a nice "Biscay Blue Metallic" that we like (also liked the 2016 MY Sapphire Blue), but we want a V8 & the CT burns too much fuel when towing.
Frankly PAG "screwed the pooch" when they dropped the normally aspirated V8 CS in 2015 - especially for anyone who plans to tow with it, cuz that TT V6 in either 2.9L or prior 3.6L V6 will drive you crazy with the droning of that 6 on long trips & up grades!
IMHO they should've kept the CS as the N.A. V8, & made the 3.6L/2.9L TT V6 as yet another sub-model "Cayenne GS Carrera" or some other catchy name from the Porsche past, for those who want a racier & lighter weight Cay but not so much for towing, & preserve the V8 CS as the workhorse it had been.
And, yes, I do know that they're all rated to tow 7700+ lbs regardless of engine (except Hybrid) - but just try sitting in a V6 Cay working hard to pull a trailer up the I-5 Grapevine (or pick your favorite local long steep grade), & you'll know what I mean!

Yes, the configurator has been up for a while but it has been updated 3 times since then.
Porsche wasn't confirming orders until 2 weeks ago when the final build sheet came out.
A lot of the personal Porsche options have been left out for the launch orders.
I agree, would of loved to have had the NA V8 stay.

You guys always seem to get all the cars months in advance! Lucky guys!
I had a GTS for a month before i sold it and got a turbo. The noise is fun, the lack of speed is annoying.

After the whole dieselgate thing all VAG cars have to sit at port once arrived for 4 months before they can be released
Porsche usually updates the site in late summer. At that time we will see a full compliment of options we are used to seeing. For the following model year the GTS and Turbo S will be revealed.
AFAIK California is the only "Carb State" - & NoCal hasn't seceded yet, although they keep threatening to do it.
CARB is the California Air Resources Board.
So are any other of the 49 States also following our CARB standards?
