I need to remove the fuel filler door on my 2014 Cayenne 958 Platinum Edition. I've searched but can't find any instructions.

Anybody done this or have a suggestion?

There are three paint codes for meteor gray and I need to get an exact match for a custom part. The painter asked that I send them (not local) the fuel filler door so they can match exactly. They did it once and used one of the three codes that's incorrect.

I believe the outer panel/skin detaches from the actual hinge, but not sure how that happens.

Problem solved! I finally found an image online of the back of the fuel filler door, separate from the hinge, and I could then see how easy it was to remove the door. Took literally a couple of minutes. Posting here in case anybody is looking in the future.
