958TT leather dash shrinking / wrinkling behind gauge cluster DIY fix?

I'm in the process of purchasing a 2013 CTT.
This CTT has part of the leather main / upper dash behind the gauge cluster shrinking / wrinkling / pulling loose.
Q: Can this leather piece be conditioned and tucked back in while the main dash is in place, or would removal of the dash be necessary?
I only found one youtube video on main dash removal, but several on removing the gauge cluster and cover.
Any insights / information would be appreciated.

Decided to punt on that Cayenne, dealer had issues getting title to me in a timely manner / playing games.
FYI, local upholstery shop quoted me $2500 for a recover in matching leather including labor or $1500 if I removed the dash and brought it in.

958.2CTT is infamous around these parts
Question

Hello, what is the shop that quoted you this? Thanks! I am in Murfreesboro. I just got quoted $3,400 to do it, may be worth the drive. This is for a 2016 Cayenne Turbo.
