Unhappy Sad Day / Rocker arm failure <carnage alert>

I brought my 2012 V6 6-speed to a local indy shop here in Ashburn (Intersport) for a GDI service and to take a listen to a recently noisy valve train. A tick that had recently become louder. After an oil change service, the car was parked in the shop overnight. The next morning the porter went to move her, she would not start. In fact, the engine spun a little faster than normal. CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR error. No start. Uh oh.

We popped the intake and valve cover and found that one of the rocker arm bearings had broken in half, the rocker was wedged user the cam lob (trashing it) and the camshaft adjuster nut had backed out up against the timing cover. Not sure what the sequence was for what, but I think i've run out of (cost effective) options for my car

Would need at a minimum a new cylinder head with all the pieces. Perhaps a new entire long block as there were sparkles in the oil filter. Don't know if the timing being off (the two cams are not aligned) caused some valves to hit pistons. I'm not going to pay to find out.

Anyone need a manual 958 project?

This is after removing the loose rocker, you can see the broken lifter, half the needle bearing race and the trashed cam lob

The lifter

backed out to the timing cover
