Picked up a 13 CTT - mod list

Sooo my newish 2013 CTT will be delivered next week.

Man do these depreciate.... 16 months of ownership and the first owner lost $65,000, for 29,000 miles of use. It is pretty loaded: Sport, Premium plus, Burmester, extended Espresso/Cognac, 21's with painted arches, ect.

So on to my questions:

1) Anyone have the espresso floor matts? How do they hold up?

2) a good basic mod list:

1) GIAC Tune
2) Fabspeed cat bypass
3) Airmatic lowering links
4) Black out all of the alu-chrome with wrap / Black powder coat rims
5) Acid Green brake calipers

What do you think of the mod list?

I am hoping the mods will help the CTT keep up with my wife's X5M (My old DD)!

Thanks,

You asked so IMHO Iwould never fool with mods to a turbo suspension system especially if yours is equipped with PDCC.

maybe a different color for the calipers. I like the acid green color, but that's now the accent color for Porsche hybrid vehicles (I'm pretty sure)

Thanks for the feedback, that is exactly why I posted the list.
I thought that the lowering links were a known good mod for the 958.

I certainly do not want to compromise the CTT in any way, my wife will be driving it at DEs after it tows my 911 to the track.

What is the issue with the links?

Good point. Can't do yellow, and I am sick of red. Will have to think on it!

Congrats on the purchase! Looks like a very clean/well optioned CTT!

I think the green would still look phenomenal despite it's usage on the hybrid line up, but maybe go with a blue shade instead?

Also, I have the Secondary Catbypass pipes in stock and ready to ship as well!

Can't do blue brakes, my wife has the X5M now, and that is the M color.

Joe, I loved the your exhaust on my 993 year ago, I went through about 4 different exhausts before I got your system. I will get your bypass for sure!

Thanks,

Tom

does it have air suspension? If so H&R makes a plug and play lowering kit
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...oModClar=Turbo

I'm thinking of ordering it for my incoming 15 Diesel

It does have the air suspension. I like that H&R option, but I had read in a few threads that these work well:

Links/

I have gone both routes in the past, using VAG-COM to drop my Audis, and links and springs on a BMW. Both seemed about the same.

Does anyone here have the H&R?

Wow those calipers look amazing. I will be travelling most of May, and want to get all of the work done on the CTT, while I am gone. I will PM you for details!

Thanks,
