955 Rear Parking Sensor Positions
Can anyone help me understand the count on the rear parking sensor positions?
My number 7 rear outer right sensor shows as not communicating on my cayenne turbo. Can anyone explain the numbering?

Might help division (haven't tried it on the Cayenne): Most parking sensors make a tiny noise like a cricket when activated. Your ear has to be right up to it, or perhaps a stethoscope might work. It's a quick way to find a dead one - at least on BMWs (and I imagine there aren't too many German sensor manufacturers..)
There are 12 sensors - 6 on front and 6 on back. They are numbered sequentially starting in front (1-6) and then the rear (7-12). You provided your own answer - Right (passenger side), rear (back bumper), outer (the outer most one - on the corner).
These are very easy to replace but do need to be painted prior to install. They are also not very expensive.
Good Luck.
