considering 2 cayennes
considering 2 cayennes
living on a farmhouse type spot and always doing errands and lugging stuff around. i have an X5D that i use for work, but sort of thinking of getting a fun beater type truck. Raptors are too damn expensive and have been itching for a cayenne.
i found 2
1- salvage title, seemingly decent shape, needs some work 04 TT with 56k miles. honestly i think i can steal this thing for 2,500
2- cayenne gts- 09, sort of rough but decently maintained for 7200
trying to figure out if these will be more of a headache than they are worth or something fun to use here and there for working/ errands. i want something reliable enough to take on 3+ hour ski trips but i wont be actually commuting with this

Unless you spin your own wrenches, you'll exceed the purchase price with maintenance on either of these rigs. What's the mileage on the GTS?
What's the salvage history on the 04 Turbo? On the 04, you have to swap out the plastic coolant pipes under the intake manifold, eradicate electrical gremlins, and ...that would be about it for now.
