SMD LED License plate lights!!

Just changed my 08 Cayenne's number plate lights to these SMD LED ERROR FREE bulbs I bought off ebay n they were cheap too.. Man they look good. And they come with a life time warranty and most importantly they are ERROR free ones. At around the bottom of the link you can check if it would fit your model/year too. Fast delivery with tracking which got to my place in like 4 days... I'll post my pics tomorrow or something. Just thought I share this with my fellow cayenner's ; ) Link is below..

I got something similar in my CTT. It is a bit bluer than I'd like. I do have another pair that is more intense white (the same ones I've installed in my 996) that I plan to replace them with. All are error-free.

I bought the ones in the link and they are purple / blue not white. I emailed them to see if they shipped me a higher spectrum then 4.3k by accident, no answer yet.

Yikes. I hope that doesn't happen to me. Maybe I should've stuck with ijdmtoy paying $11 more.

There you go guys..did the best of what I could with uploading the pics.. my cayennes rims are off so couldn't take it out for the pics. You can see some yellow coz of the tail lights and the car sitting in the garage but atleast you can see the xenon white light clearly.. its much brighter than the pics but hey its my opinion anyways.

What are the best "error free" (with resistor) bulbs for the front side markers?

Had these installed but honestly, I was disappointed at the brightness.
It barely lit up the middle of the plate.

I'm thinking of returning these (the two bulbs lexenauto from ebay sent me were different bulbs; different design) and forking over $10 more at ijdmtoy. Maybe their bulbs are much better but I doubt it since most of these bulbs are pretty much the same.

Any inputs?

The picture below doesn't do reality any justice:

They don't look much different from stock brightness damn what car is it..? For me my ones are located directly on top of where the number plate is when you check my pic that i uploaded so it made a huge difference. I see hw ur light holder is located on the side maybe thats what it is?

And personally I don't really think even paying more to get bulbs from ijdmtoy would really make huge a difference if any, unless their bulbs are manufactured differently? Both are smd's should be the same output. Unless someone can correct me? Fill us in on what you ended up finding.

Now why do you want to make your license plate _more_ visible?

Well, the LED lights don't really make the license plate light more visible. It's just a change of color. In many cases, with the use of lower output LEDs, the license plate end up less visible. However, if cops notice that the license plate light is very dim, it gives them a reason to pull you over.
