Lowering my Porsche Cayene S 2005

Hi everyone

I just bought 22 inch black rims from Wheel Dynamics and they look absolutely beautiful...I have only been on here a few times so I dont know if this guy is very well known on here, but Eli @ Wheel Dynamics really helped me and guided me and let me bother him with 1000 questions

the only problem is that there is a pretty big gap in between the wheels (i would like to lower 1-1.5"). I do not have the air suspension option FYI

Can someone tell me the best springs to get? I want good quality and dont want to lower to something crazy low...i live in NY and go into the city a lot, so want to deal well with potholes/bad weather still

I attached a pic for you guys to see

you could try some coil overs...which would give you a lot of height adjustability and damper settings. I think they are called BC Racing Coilovers.

Btw, what size of tires and brand are you running? I just ordered those same wheels!! Your Cayenne looks great!!

thanks man...i bought 22 inch 808 series wheels from Wheel Dynamics with Pirelli all season tires

when the shipment came i was scared i ordered too big, and even called Eli @ wheel dynamics making sure he sent the right ones...they looked huge

but when i put them they looked flush and beautiful...the only issue is this gap

after i paint the side panels, paint the calipers yellow and lower it, ill put a new pic up because i bet it will look amazing

What size of tire? 285/35?

Here's quote I grabbed from a website.

"Now there is an option to lower your Cayenne without compromising ride quality and handling. Instead of just putting lowing springs on your Cayenne that limits your drop to 1.4 inches, you can now fully dial in your ride height with BC Racing’s Coilovers.

This is the perfect option to dial-in your Cayenne’s handling with easily accessible adjustment ***** for fine tuning your compression/rebound and separately adjustable ride height, having a performance coilover system couldn’t be any easier. You choose how low or high you want your vehicle, no preset ride height here, and our patented concave lower locking ring keeps it locked in. All of our systems come with pillowball mounts to provide the most feedback possible from your suspension and to sharpen your steering response. BC’s available front and rear camber plates also allow you to get the perfect alignment setup without compromise. All this while providing a strong, attractive looking coilover system.

Mono-tube shock design

30 levels of damping force adjustment, adjust compression/rebound

Pillowball mounts and adjustable camber plates included (where applicable)

Adjustable rear camber plates available

Separate full length height adjustable

One year warranty

Rebuildable"
