Ventilated seats

Help needed!

Got my first p-car (cayenne v6). Love it, drives much better then ml350 it replaced (figures). I have a premium plus package with vented seats and they keep shutting off on me. It never happened in my benz. Dealer says it's normal, they do that when cabin is cold enough It's not that I don't trust the dealer but it's just mind boggling that the p-engineers would add extra censors for seat temperature control

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Mine stay on all the time, no matter the length or interior/exterior temperature.

Same here, must be manually activated and switched off irrespective of cabin temperature.

Cheers,

Same here, on all the time when activated. I would go back to dealer.

Seat ventilation in the 997.2 stops if the ambient cabin temperature drops below 58F according to the manual. I would assume that the Panamera and Cayenne have similar limits. Their respective manuals do state that it will stop if the temperature is low enough. If your cabin temperature is higher than this when it happens, then definitely take it back for service.

Under normal circumstances, mine never shut off since the cabin stays 72F or above all of the time in either the Cayenne or Carrera.

Thanks everyone for their replies. I did find a spot in the manual where it says about shutting off automatically.
