20" Sport Techno Replica Recommendation

Greetings!

This is my first post in these forums!

I have a very clean 2003 Porsche Cayenne Turbo that has 80k miles on it.

I'm looking to replace my factory 20" Sport Design wheels with some quality 20" Sport Techno replicas in "Black". There is a seller on eBay, USARIM, that sells them but the price literally seems too good to be true (hence it probably is, $775 shipped for 4x) and I have read some unflattering things about them.

Anyone know where I can get some 20" Sport Techno replicas in Black from a reputable aftermarket wheel company?

I have a Wife and (2) young kids, the last thing I want to do is make my car look good at the expense of their safety.

Any help is appreciated.

Tom

Keep searching ebay. I picked up a set of factory OEM from an 06 CTTS for $800!!! If you are patient you can find a great deal on OEM that some rich guy is getting rid of (that is what happened in my case.).

Yep, they are the ones with the wide rears. I was shocked I found them for so cheap. The tires have a ton of tread left too!!! It was a case of being in the right place at the right time.

I have seen the OEM technos for $1k to $800 all the time you just need to search eBay a lot. They are out there if you are willing to spend the time looking and waiting.

BTW there is someone selling the OEM 21 GTS rims at no reserve on eBay. Those rims are sweet too.

Oh and check Craigslist I saw some in the Chicago area with tires for $1500, not sure if there still available but it's another site to keep in mind.

Thanks gents!

Appreciate all the help.

I'm going to do 22"s soon enough, I may just save the money and wait. I personally just don't like the way the Sport Designs look, to the point temporary wheels actually make sense (if that makes sense).

I plan on putting Frozen cross-drilled and slotted rotors all the way around with the 22"s. Then I'm going to Fabspeed for Air Filters, Cat-Bypass, Exhaust (I'm not sold on the Valvetronic MaxFlo exhaust though, I like the Car Graphics one but it's $$$), and ECU Map.

I'm very concerned about rotational mass with 22"s, I have seen heavy enough 22"s eat 40-50 wheel HP! I don't want to bring my car to 550 HP just to compensate for heavy wheels. I want the best of both worlds (no more than a -15 wheel hp hit at most).

Here are the 22"s in mind:

you should just go with ecu flash and bypass pipes, then change your tips..i dont like most exhaust for the Cayennes for some reason.. I did hear techart, cargraphic and fabspeed..
I like those wheels.. but there's a recent thread about COR Wheels about an incident breaking on the track with their forged wheel... roderick is also a new manufacturer.. just do your research before buying them...
good luck, looking forward to some 550HP posts..lol!!
