Thanks for the video! It does sound great for V6 with the hack. Any drones?
Did you bring your own pipes or did exhaust shop have them?

Great! $150 for taking out the exhaust, welding both pipes, then put it back on seems very cheap! Now...if I can find a good place near be me...

It was quite some years ago. 70k mls ago. In ghetto of San Francisco

There's a lot of room there so no need to remove. Unless you want beautiful welds.

I just did the Gundo Hack on my 2012 Cayenne Base 3.6 V6 and Holy Cow what a great mod. Im very impressed with the improved sound. Sounds deep and throaty has attitude now. Very GTSesque sounding now.

Check out our Maxflo Performance Exhaust for the 958 V6 - some cutting is required at a factory break point and our system bolts on in place. Picks up a refined, throatier tone (still very reasonable) along with approx +10whp/15ft-lbs with no CELs or emissions concerns.

Does that create any emissions issues in California?

you did the hack

1. The people normally went with 2" pipes to do the hack, but can I go with 1.5" or 1" pipe instead? Will it be quieter going smaller pipes? I'm just afraid sound might be too loud or fart can-ish with 2"...I can't find any clips with Cayenne with 2" hack.

2. Will it fail inspection with this hack?

3. Any good shop you guys recommend doing this hack in northern NJ?

Thanks in advance!

Other than PSE (Porsche's Sport Exhaust) I could only find Agency Power and Remus exhausts for the V6 Cayenne. However, both of the aforementioned exhausts require cutting the OEM mufflers and welding the new one.

Is there any exhaust for V6 958 that does not need welding? (i.e., direct bolt-on?)

Please help me finding a way to make my cayenne sound better.

Best,

HW
.

If you did it, I hope you can show a video about it.
