Air oil separator, it's the black cap on the drivers valve cover. The gasket underneath was cracked pretty bad

No worries - it happens to the best of us.

So you dealt with Tony@EPL?

1.2 bar is 17.4 PSI. That is a healthy about of boost!

This is insane... I can only imagine how loud it is with these cutouts open.

I am confused here. So was it tuned for methanol? If so, then it would have had to have been tuned on the dyno with methanol spraying. If it was not tuned for methanol, then there is no harm if the system failed while WOT; it will simply reduce timing. This is how I am setup and know if works well.

Why not simply setup the failsafes then, am I missing something?

I think this a shame since meth would have given you at least 50 hp to the wheels, which means you would have came close to reaching your HP goal. In the end, if you had to run with no meth, why not just put in some race gas? Almost as good... just a thought

It was not tuned for meth but was tuned for straight water. I do plan on trying tonrun straight meth and let the car adjust for it but have no idea what it will bump me up to

Great write up and I like your innovation and am a bit jealous at the welding abilities. Enjoy!

It runs great, I'm a little disappointed on the speed but that's because I'm coming from a stg3+ s4 so about 450whp and much lighter. I do know better so it hauls *** for a 6900 pound pig it's just hard when your used to the other car. I would like to run it against a 955TT with just a tune to see the difference (I live in state college pa if there are any takers) but all in all I love it favorite all around car yet.
