Cayenne TT very slow after 110mph

Have you noticed that cayenne become very very slow after 180/h .. At 190-200 it nearly dies . I had some opertunity to push it hard these days and was really hoping to go 150mph+ ... But man its slow

that's strange maybe you have a boost leak of some sort. even my n/a v8 pulls strong until about 120-30 then it feels like it falls flat on its face and creeps really slow to 150mph.

BG305 is infamous around these parts
I think you need to have that tune checked. I hit 150mph on mine bone stock, well it did have K&N filters at the time.

I was with 2 300lbs friend onboard when I tested it . I have reached 150mph stock , alone with it and fast on a short road And was hoping to be faster with boltons . My tune pulls more than 0.9 bar .. I will try to put 100 octane to it soon.

Also I didnt say it stops at 130mph , but after that it becomes really really slow

The truck is a brick aerodynamically. Weight doesn't matter as much for top speed. Aero matters more. It's not surprising the accelerates much more slowly after 100mph.

You guys have brass ***** doing 150mph in a 5500 brick...

I've had my 958 over 150mph a few times and up to 170mph once and that was before the ECU tune.

remember, there's a lot of wind resistance at the higher speeds.

but it gets to 150 in a hurry. 150 to 170 takes a while and at that speed the wind sounds like a 747.

however, the 957 weighs a ton more and has less power, so I have no idea if any of this is applicable to you.

958 weights around 300lbs less than 957 . Same engine but I have bolt ons . 958 is faster because my final gear is 5th and yours is 7th ?

I think the problem are the camshaft which makes peak power at 4500rpm but when you are running a shift it goes at 5000rpm so we dont have than much power left ?

@porschecayenne92

With those bolt-ons, you should be blowing right past 110 mph. Yes, it makes peak power around 4300 rpms and wind-resistance is brutal at 130 mph +, but it still has alot of power up to around 6200 rpms. Then the top end drops a little to redline around 6750 rpms.

All said, depending on the severity, you might have another issue.. When is the last time you replaced your MAF? Have you ever had your fuel pump replaced?

I had an extra 600 lbs on the car . I replaced my fuel pumps 1 year ago ,all three of them. The mafs are located in the plenum pipes wright ? I think the mechanic maybe cleaned it when installing the ipd plenum . Anyway inshallah if everything goes ok I will become a panamera turbo owner !
