I have come across a set of nice 18-way sport seats from a 958 and was wondering if anyone has swapped into a 955/957 model?


I sat in a set at the local dealer and was amazed how comfortable they are! I am hoping they are the same size base/mounting points and wiring!

 

It appeared to me that they aren't backwards compatible. Certainly not for wiring - since they offer more features/adjustments than the 955/957 seats did. I seem to remember an offset on the bolt locations on the 955 seats that doesn't exist on the 958 seats.

But regarding 18 way - no idea.
We dit it once, but in different way - installing 957 seat in 958. They prety similar inside, seat base and bakcrest frame was 958 under 957 foam and cover. May be you can do it vv. New foam on 57 base.
