I'm going to be in Chicago this weekend interviewing and was going to check out some dealers on Saturday, potentially to put an order in. What are the best dealers in the area, preferrably with large inventory. I'd like to test drive the 997 S, Turbo, and a GT3 if possible (though I'm sure the latter will be unlikely)? Thanks!

I've had good luck with Loeber Porsche.

 

Porsche Exchange (most others have good reputation as well)

Whatever you do, (IMO) STAY AWAY from Luxury Motors...(not a Porsche Dealer, but they carry a huge porsche inventory)

Motorjerks does not have a good reputation in my town, but I don't know about their Porsche department.

 

I checked out the Exchange, had a nice experience but they want $10k to hold a build slot (July). That seems pretty high to me. That and the fact that there may be significant changes to the '08s is making me hold off at the moment.
