You guys should teach a detailing class for all of us with polishers who don't know how to use them!

We own black cars and that seems to be what we are doing as of late.

Yes, We will be holding some classes for groups like ours. I will post it up.

The shop we have is a great shop in the club but we are building a hole new detail bay with lifts over the wenter. Also we have an enclosed so we can pick up cars and drop them off.

Looks awesome. Can't wait for y'all to do mine. Is that second pic the mirror reflection in the black paint?!?

Also - do you guys know how to deal with the clearbra? like the little marks and such...can y'all get em out and make it all just straight 'orange-peel' look again?

Yes, The reflection is off the the Bently GTC. Justin just picked up two waxes that ran him over 4K so they better work well.

Clearbra and clear paint is not a good combo. Personaly I hate them and we have been taking them off the non DD cars. We can do a little buffing on them to clean them up but the orange peal look will never come out. Thats the reason you dont see show cars with clearbra's.

Agreed...I use clear bra on my SUVs, but not on the P-car. If the chips get bad I will get it re-painted. The CB just looks like sh*t all the time. Aaron, just wondering what products you guys use and are you willing to use what the customer brings?

Hey all! Thanks for the compliments first off....

We use several lines.... I personally love Menzerna polishes, especially for P cars and European paints, they work well and offer great results.

On high end stuff, I like Zymol, Vintage or Royal Glaze. We also have Wolfgang Fusion which I like for light colors.

I also like Zaino.

We are now the local retailer for Prima proudcts, and base testing shows that we are going to get some great results with their stuff, so I am excited about exploring that further.

I will use what the customer brings as long as it is an appropriate proudct for the application and will satisfy the customers needs, expectations, and desires. Our goal is the use the correct product for your car, and what you want out of it. Not all are eaqul and some offer benefeits in one area but not the other, and visa versa. Depth usually has less length of protection than polymers, ect......

Let me know what you want to accomplish and we can discuss.

Justin

Also to chime in on the clear bra discussion, look at the first pic of the GTC. Notice how perfect it is except for the front end where the iddiott installed the clear bra without completely drying the car off leaving streaking and water spots behind the bra, never really niticable until the balance of the car was corrected.

I hate them.

Justin....I have tried many different carnubas and polymers on my car (my garage has containers of Rejex, PS2, Zymol, Meguiars, Poorboys, FK...and that is just the paint stuff). A couple of years ago I switched over to Zaino...and have been there ever since. It has ben a couple of years since I had a great detail though and I've got some of those swirls that need some TLC. The carnubas look great, but just don't last. Hit me up with a quote. TIA.

yea, i have gone without them before, and never will again, don't like resprays, can't stand the rock chips out here...but regardless of a religious discussion about clear bras (cause if done wrong, which like 98% of them seem to be, they suck ***...but like em or not, they did an outstanding job wrapping the G), I'm not talking about removing the orange peel look, I'm talking about getting little marks out of it. Cause while they dont chip from the rocks, they will take small scratch type things in them that I hear can be removed.
