High octane gas???

Hi do you think that 91 octane gas is okay to use for my car, and do we have any other optons? I remember the gas station on Parker and Quincy had 93 but they are long gone, it definitely made a difference on 2001 Audi S4 (miss that car 187.000 miles). Thanks in advance.

You have to remember that we are at 5000' above sea level. Typically we don't need as much octane due to several factors. However, in a boosted application, a little more octane is usually better, however I have not had any issues running 91 in mine. In Arvada, I can get 100, IIRC, at Hill's Petroleum.

^^+1^^

As I understand it there is no problem with gasoline and detonation issues unless the car has a after market supercharger or turbo. That might be a good question to call into a dealer service department: I'd I use anything less than 91 in my 997.1 do I have to worry about detonation issues?

good one.
on the gas trap there is some german math = 93 octane. so I figured it require 93 or more octane.

in my area we have a gas station that have 94 octane. so i'm good.
but when driving out of town, there is only 91....
can it cause issues?
