It doesn't get better than this
Ok. After working on my car off and on for the last 2 days. I'm beat but I'm really happy with the results. You need to have supreme patience and faith that the Menzerna is going to work and boy...it does!
Before. I had no idea how bad the swirl marks were until I went and bought a proper light
After. Got most if the swirl marks out.
Whoa! check this out. The lights don't lie!

As far as process I followed Moe's and Phil's recommends. After clay bar I used the Porter Cable with Lake County orange pad for cutting and the white pad for Micro Polishing followed by the grey pad for waxing. I used Menzerna Intensive Polish followed by the 106FF Micro Polish or the 85RD Micro Polish. Then I used Meguiars Hi-tech yellow wax no#26. I don't have full pics of the car yet since I still need to do the rear bumper and the roof. But here are some pics of the car and process anyways.
At GMG
Taped up. Notice I tape the seam so as to not touch my clear bra front end.
Awaiting more attention
I will post the final results when I get the entire car polished. I'm like 13 hours into it and man it's not for the impatient.

Looks great. Detailing at this level takes A LOT of patience. Don't rush it because if you try and rush and cut corners, it'll ruin all the hard work you've already put in. Can't wait to see the end result.

Damn, I'm impressed that was done with a PC. I'm not familiar with Porsche's clear but on my BMW the PC could never, at least for me using the same products, get that much correction. Well done again.

Different paints will always react differently with the same products. BMW has a very HARD paint and requires much more finessing. Porsche paint is much softer and easier to correct. You can still get excellent results with a PC on your BMW, it just requires even more patience.
