Does Hose Quality Matter?

Does the quality of the hose you use matter when doing a detail? I mean, beyond how long it will last? Is there one that you pro guys recommend?

just size. [Sorry, couldn't help myself.]

I will say that a nice hose makes things a LOT more enjoyable. Not an expert, but the one from Griot's is the best I have had yet.

Really, just get a hose that doesn't kink so much & has quality ends.

Other then that it doesn't matter. I got a Craftman "Pro" hose, & really like it.

Alex Trebeck is infamous around these parts
I don't think the hose matters too much as long as it isn't really old and starting to dry out. I use regular green garden hoses with a good nozzle.

What does make a bigger difference is how clean the water is.

I don't have one, but I know several people that do. Basically they will eliminate water spots after drying. You can even not dry the car at all and it won't leave spots. Its a nice piece. They can get expensive, but they are well worth it.
