2008 Porsche 911 Cabriolet-Slate Grey Metallic

This is a recent detail of a 2008 Porsche 911 in Slate Grey Metallic. The client recently traded in his 2007 silver 911 for this new 2008 911 cab. The car was in mint condition with only 300 miles on the odo. Other than some minor tar issues on the wheels the car was a pleasure to work on.

Process: (6 Hours)

Foam with Meguiars NXT Wash Soap and CG CWG
Wash with 2 bucket method and Meguiars NXT Wash Soap
Clean wheels with P21S Wheel Cleaner
Clean wells and tires with Eagle One Tire and Rubber Cleaner
Clay with Sonus Green Clay
Polish with Duragloss 101 AIO via Ultimate Detailing Machine and white polishing pad
LSP=Duragloss 105 via Ultimate Detailing Machine and LC black pad
Glass cleaned with Zep Glass Cleaner
Engine wiped down and dressed with CD2 Engine Detailer and Sonus Total Eclpise
Interior wiped down with Woolite 6:1
Interior vinyl dressed with Sonus Total Eclipse
Leather dressed with Four Star Leather Conditioner
All exterior plastic lenses polished with Meguiars Plastix
Exhaust polished with Meguiars NXT Metal Polish
Tires dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Dressing
Wheel wells dressed with Street Appeal Tire Dressing

Very nice indeed. For PlastiX, did you hand or machine polished and how was the result or did you like the product? Thanks!!

I used it by hand. The lenses were brand new. They came out great.
