So far So Great 1st Detail

My dad's Z06 had a ton of water spots that we could not get off as well as minor swirls marks. Car is garage kept so it is pretty clean. About a month ago someone pulled out of a side street and hit the side/front of the car so ended up getting a new bumper headliht and fender. Well the fender had some halograms on it that were pretty obvious and needed to get fixed too. What better an excuse to buy stuff right? So I talked to the experts here and ordered a PC some Menz SIP and Nano and a few other supplies frin detailers domain. They got here in about 2 days (Im in NJ ) And I started washing and claying the car yesterday.

The Car

Ouch some people just shouldnt Drive

But its fixed

The swirls and water spots

That is just the Roof and Rear hatch where the most scratches swirls and water spots were.

I used one to 2 passes of SIP orange pad on speed 6 with the PC. I then steped down to speed 5 toward the end as I was told this would reduce hazing

This stuff is great!! This is withonly SIP I still need to use the nano which I will do tommorrow.

Here are some pics pulled out in the sun. I wanted to make sure there were no halogram since it was my first time.

Yes thank you everyone I am very pleased with the results. It really looks awesome and the color pops so much more. It was all done with a PC and took a good 8 hours of polishing alone. I took it nice and slow didnt want to screw anything up
