Sup guys..

My new ride comes in a few days - 09 C63 - Artic White. I usually bring it to my friends detail shop, but I want to start maintaining this car myself. I usually use the Dupont Teflon Wheel Cleaner, Blue Coral Spray Tire Dressing, Turtle Wax ICE Car Wash or the Gliptone. Wax, my buddy usually does it...but as you can see below..he does a good job on my BMW.

I am going to order the foam gun....

Which other products should I order? I am not worried about interior products. Just exterior. Money is no object.

Whats good car wash?

Whats good wheel cleaner/protector? - Mind you I have gloss black HRE Monoblocks pictured below. So I want to be careful about which I use.

Which Wash Mit/Microfiber Towels/Drying Towel should I buy?

I am sure the dealer wax will be minimal..but instead of claying the car...can I just wax, seal and protect?

Again, any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!!

Why post about buying from another vendor when there are four great ones here?

Soap: einszett Perls, P21S, Zymol Auto Wash or Clear are some great choices. Much better than Turtle ICE you're using now.

Wheel Cleaner: P21S Wheel Cleaner or Zymol Wheel Cleaner would be two excellent choices as they are pH balanced and safe on those painted wheels. You may also want to get Zymol Wheel Brush or Swisswax Wheel Brush for the face of the wheels. The EZ Detail brush is a must to clean inside the wheels.

Clay: Zymol Lehm Klay 3 and Lehm Lube is what I'd recommend.

Polish/Wax: Syntheitc Route--einszett Glanz and Paint Polish, DyNA Line from Detailing Dynamics makes a simple Cleaner Wax, Gloss It is showcasing some good choices here, haven't used it yet. Natural Route--Zymol HD-Cleanse Polish and Titanium or Concours Wax. Swissvax Cleanser Fluid and any of their waxes is another option.

Microfiber Towels: Simply put, anything in the $4-7 range is a great quality towel, below that is fine, but not on paint IMHO. Above that, you're paying too much for hype or marketing. Use a waffle-weave microfiber towel to remove polish and a high quality micro to remove wax. Let us know if you have any more questions...and keep your business on our community. We sponsors work hard to build a place you the DIYer can come to for quality advice and it's not too much to ask to spend your hard-earned $$ here where it's apprciated.
