Aluminum wheel polish?

I have a set of Champion wheels on my car and they have the polished aluminum lip. I have used Mothers Mag and Aluminum wheel polish and of course it is a huge mess and I don't think does the job as well as it could. Is there something that will be more user friendly in application and removal or a way to apply/remove that would be recommended?

When I used to clean my car with Meguiars cleaner/wax and thought it looked AWESOME and then switched to Menzerna polishes and souveran paste and noticed the HUGE difference, that is what I am hoping for with the wheels!!

Any help would be appreciated!!

TIA

Use a mild polish like menzerna final polish or 106ff. Then bring the aluminum to a brilliant shine using zymol Metall. That's the process we do for our higher end details.

What about for all the junk on them? Nano will pull that off?? Or should i start with super intensive and follow up with nano like I would with paint?

Or should I just clay them at first?

A very light clay like sonus extra fine or a medium clay like zymol lehm klay should get the embedded stuff off. Then, 106, and Metall. If it's really bad, you may need sip and then nano. Do you have any pictures?

I can grab some pics tomorrow. They actually look pretty good after the Mothers, but there are still some stains on them. I was hoping ot find an easy way to care for them instead of scrubbing and scrubbing them with the alum. polish that i was using. I'll show you the stains tomorrow and then you can tell me what you think of them.

Zymol Metall is a wax/protectant? Can i use Souveran (prolly won't last) or a sealant like 4* Ultimate Paint Protection (stuff I have around)?

Zymol Metall is like a metal polish/conditioner. You don't want to apply wax to any bare metal such as aluminum. It closes the pores of the metal and tarnishes the metal. If you're already happy with the look, then just make them pop with Metall.

That's what I thought they were. Clay them, polish them, and then use Metall to finish them.
