It's in Washington State, we hardly ever get snow, & it never last. Right now it's been over a week, with snow coming almost every day.
On a down note, I have a 2 stg water filter & softner for cleaning the cars, i didn't drain out the water, it burst the plastic filter holders.

I feel your pain. I attempted to pressure wash the salt off the lower panels of my Audi this afternoon and the water froze on the paint within about a minute. Best bet for at least getting the ice off would be to use warm (not boiling!) water in a watering can and to gently flood the paint to loosen that ice up. Works well for me if my car has been out all night. Dont get the water too hot!
Take it to a body shop and have them run it through a bake cycle. 175 degrees of downdraft heat should melt it away. Figure about $100 per visit, this could be an expensive winter.

LOL....that would be my tool of choice. Just make sure you've taped off the rubber trim
Thats the safest way to do it, any water will freeze to it, warm water can damage the car while it's so cold. Find a warm place to park it and let the snow run off on it's own and then wash it.
My car got stuck in the snow the other day and i scraped the windshield off, pulled it in my garage and put the heat on in the garage. Then I came out and washed it off while I had it in there.

I would much rather find a way to push it into a warm garage and figure out how to clean the garage, than to try and clean all that off the car and risk damaging it.
Concrete is much more resistant to scratches than paint finishes.
Or just use that flamethrower. I don't see how that could go wrong really.

There's a nice looking Pcar under that snow, though
