This is why it's been taking me so long to do full details. Now I see the light . Do both the interior and exterior at once. Holy moly.

Believe it or not. Here in Atlanta I saw a guy at a car wash business using a pressure washer to clean the door jams/shuts.

What!!

This is funny, back in the nineties I did work for a limousine service and of course the Lincolns has thin whitewall tires. There was one driver from the back woods who would constantly say " don't know why you will not leave them tires dirty cuz after a bit they will be blackwalls and you could save a bit of time me reckon" one time after he said this it took at least fifteen minutes to stop laughing and he was pissed and said" well I sorry Ima not mister perfect like you".

Btw this guy would spit on the windshield to clean it(lol).

Believe it or not, a lot of the shops around here that do wholesale work will do that to the vehicles. (I'll never do wholesale work)

Especially funny when it's below freezing out and all the electronics in the vehicle stop working along and everything is frozen....Gooood times..

NICE, I'll use that tip next time as I can totally see it saving time! I knew that while I was spending 10-12 hours on a car it could be done in 2..

I have a '96 Lexus LX450 (land cruiser with a nicer name). This is from back when Land Cruisers had solid axles front and rear and were off-road forces that only a Hummer H1 could top. Mine has several aftermarket modifications including a 3" suspension lift, running board and mud flaps removed, locking differentials (from the factory, God I love off-road attention to detail from the factory), and 35" mud tires.

Well one night my friends and I were ride around. When we got back you could barely see the original color of the SUV. Well it turns out the back two sliding windows were open the interior was painted in a nice coat of mud. Luckily the interior seat are covered in water proof fabric, I used a radio from a boat with marine speakers, and painted the floor with bed liner.

This make cleanup very easy, just power wash the inside and park it in the sun with the doors open for a while. I will post a detailing video when it warms up a little. The inside of the car is still covered in mud too.

Here's another classic one. I especially love Notorious Big in the back seat (and you guys thought he was dead).
