The PC isn't used all that much once someone gets a hold of the flex. The two are completely different animals. FLEX is quieter, has less vibrations, more torque, better correcting ability, a true random orbital polisher, and is built very well. An excellent investment for the pro and DIYer.

I would think that the Flex is a bit "trickier" because it has more torque, but then again, it has more torque, so it will be able to correct more quickly.

I don't know that this is the case. I use the PC and it's incredibly easy to use. It's the rotary that's trickier (until you "get it")

Not sure. It is a hook-n-loop system though.
