Houston Area - thumbs up
I had the misfortune of driving my Cayenne through paint on the road. Apparently it was an oil-based yellow and due to the surrounding traffic I went right through it. Needless to say the paint went everywhere in the wheelwells and the sides of it. Some even made it to the top of the rear hatch area. I went to the nearest car wash and dumped a few bucks in try and spray it off to no avail. I had heard through my Subaru friends that Mike Waddell over at Showroom Auto Detailing did great work and after a call, he was sure he could remove the paint specks.
I didn't realize it, but they also had a loaner car (explorer) for me to use at no charge as he wanted to take a day to remove the bad paint, and then I decided to just have him polish and wax it at the same time. This included cleaning the wheels (both sides), calipers, and conditioning the trim.
It took a little longer than expected, but Mike really did an excellent job on my cayenne. Even when I got the car off the lot, it did not look this good. The minor scratches and swirls have been removed. Most importantly, the paint that I had driven through was gone. Even the wheelwells and the suspension were cleaned to the point they were shiny (not oily at all). I was truly impressed with the job that Mike had done.
So if you're looking for a detailer in the Houston area, I can highly recommend his services. Here's a link:
