Pressure Washer, Anyone?
This is pretty close to what I have.

Also, opinions on electric vs. gas powered? Gas is obviously 'messier', I would imagine noisier as well. But it would be nice not to be tethered by a stupid cord that invariably gets tangled into a big mess.
I got the Snap-On washer from the local Costco ... Works great so far, but i've only used it a handful of times. Generally Snap-On makes some really good tools so I figure it shouldn't be too bad. Plus, you can't beat that Costco return policy!
If you're looking for something that has a small footprint and is user friendly, ask Phil at detailers domain about this unit: http://www.detailersdomain.com/camsp...urewasher.aspx
But after my POS unit crapped out on me in the middle of the wash (insert lots of expletives), I care less about the ability to return a unit more so than one that will not suddenly stop working with car covered in soap.
I would have never thought to use the pressure washer on any of my cars till I read this thread. Feel kinda dumb now but guess you can learn something new everyday.
Still wouldn't consider touching the paint or under the hood but I wouldn't mind working on the wheels, brakes, suspension and wheel wells.
Anyone want to comment on techniques? With wheels on and one with wheels off?
I have a 2350 psi gas power washer with 0, 15, 25 & 40 degree nozzles.
Thanks -
