Yeah, just looking at the Cam Sprays. But $2700??? Holy...... Not unless I was a professional detailer day in and day out. How much do their base models go for? Website says 'call dealer for pricing'

Also, opinions on electric vs. gas powered? Gas is obviously 'messier', I would imagine noisier as well. But it would be nice not to be tethered by a stupid cord that invariably gets tangled into a big mess.

If you're looking for something that has a small footprint and is user friendly, ask Phil at detailers domain about this unit: http://www.detailersdomain.com/camsp...urewasher.aspx

I got the Snap-On washer from the local Costco ... Works great so far, but i've only used it a handful of times. Generally Snap-On makes some really good tools so I figure it shouldn't be too bad. Plus, you can't beat that Costco return policy!

Do you have to carry the unit around with you?

That it is But after my POS unit crapped out on me in the middle of the wash (insert lots of expletives), I care less about the ability to return a unit more so than one that will not suddenly stop working with car covered in soap.

I would have never thought to use the pressure washer on any of my cars till I read this thread. Feel kinda dumb now but guess you can learn something new everyday.

Still wouldn't consider touching the paint or under the hood but I wouldn't mind working on the wheels, brakes, suspension and wheel wells.

Anyone want to comment on techniques? With wheels on and one with wheels off?

I have a 2350 psi gas power washer with 0, 15, 25 & 40 degree nozzles.

Thanks -
