Hello guys I have a spot 2"x2" that the leather apparently got hard similar to ostrich LoL, How can I soften leather car seats that have gone hard, maybe because of moisture?

 

A picture could help better diagnose. My initial response would be to clean the leather then warm the leather and condition weekly over a month. But pictures would help a lot.

 

look into buying new leather for the whole car. it could run up to 4,000, but if the car is worth it, then go for it....

 

Worse case scenario, he'd replace the leather on the damaged seat. Not sure why he'd buy leather for the whole car?

 

yeah your right.... but in the same breathe you don't want a two tone look with a fresh tan, and a old tan color....

 

Hello guys this is a almost brand new seat, thanks Moe always helping and all for the help, here is a pic of the spot 2"by2" looks like ostrich leather and around the holes is like hard to touch like a pimple

Do you know how it happened? Try cleaning the leather and then warm that area with a hair dryer to soften the leather and open the pores. Then apply a conditioner and allow it to penetrate the hide. Do the conditioning part a few times as I mentioned. Give it a few weeks and see if it makes a difference. Hopefully it will, if not, then you can replace that portion of the leather on the seat. Your dealer should know a good porsche specialist that can repair leather.

LoL its like ostrich Jk... hope it can go away using some conditioner if not maybe factory warranty ...

 

Looks like something got underneath it. A moisture spill maybe? Something that caused the padding underneath to dimple.
