Wax Opinions

Having a profession detail done in the next few weeks. The company I'm using give a choice of products from the following brands:

Adam's
Pinnacle
Dodo Juice
Meguirs
Wolf Gang
Mothers

I dont have the specifics on which wax from each company, but can you guys make a recommendation from the brands above. I'm looking for a good sealant and not a carnuba wax....want something that will last!!

Thanks!

Who is the detailer? If you are in NYC the only guy I trust is Big A. Non of those companies make long lasting sealants on your list

For the best protection I like Opticoat, or AQuartz. Both are coatings that last a long while. I have Opticoat on a Subaru that was coated when new and it is a few weeks old and the rain knocks the dirt off. Still looks good. I coated that car because it will not be pampered like my Porsche but I want it looking good with less maintenance.

Good luck.

You want someone to apply both products for you.

BTW, there is a huge difference between Opti coat and Aquartz.
Opti coat is an actual clear coat. It will last the life of the vehicle, Aquartz is 12-24 month max.

I had someone apply the Opticoat for me and now I can do it myself. The application of the Opticoat is easy, itis getting the paint polished perfectly that is the hard part. I am fair at that. I am on Long Island and I see you are in NYC. If you want to discuss shoot me a PM where I can reach you and I will be happy to answer all your questions and tell you who I used.

He did an incredible job.
