Removing Scuffs from Door Sill
Removing Scuffs from Door Sill
Took a picture below. My 911 came with some pretty noticeable scratches on the door sill, but also a weird almost "gummy looking" in some spots on the sill. Feels perfectly smooth like the rest of the sill...just looks kinda gummy (bottom center of picture).
The sills have been thoroughly cleaned with Pinnacle cleaner and protector, so its not as if something gummy still resides there...its more like just the plastic just degrading from the hot sun (Florida and Texas car). Anyone ever seen that with Porsche plastic?
I've tried Plexus and Pinnacle to no avail. Anyone have suggestions of a cleaner/restorer that can remove the marks? I've hear the Eizenett ****pit Plastic polish can remove scratches, but am not 100% sold it would work for me. (Picture below).
Any help would be great!

I figure thats worth a shot and if it comes out poorly, replacement is still an option at $400 or so (Driver and Passenger)...
