991 leather very stiff / hard

Hello all,

I have a 991 13' with tan leather, but the leather seams to be very stiff hard like cardboard, I know that now the leather is treated so, what can I do,
To keep it clean and to make it softer with out removing the tan pigment..

1 clean with just water? Or still using the cleaning, conditioner products like leather master?

Thanks

I had a 997.2 with similar, very dry feeling leather, I think part of it was that the car sat outside battling the Sarasota sun for about 3 months... Leatherique did improve it quite a bit, but it took a few applications, and letting it soak in good.

is the treatment for the life of the car and is it to protect the leather? Sorry I dont know much about what goes into the factory treatment. But what good is the treatment if the leather turns hard and starts to crack.

Thanks I'll order some more learherique, what I was saying is that now people talk about that the leather is coated from factory and if you put down any conditioner it will be just waste of money because it won't take it, bla bla maybe some expert can tell us whats going on, but thanks guys for sharing

In my experience, both coated and uncoated leather can always benefit from leather cleaning and conditioning.
