Bug stuff should come off with a wash and a wax/cleaner or polish type product. I have used the purple degreaser stuff (diluted 1/2)... Caution it s not really for paint. I wet the car down first to further dilute. Then re wax. If you have to go buy the stuff then I would suggest you just buy a bug remover type solution. Heck, I d even try the vinegar solution> That won t hurt anything.
Thanks Mark - I've read about the vinegar magic and will give that a try on the deck lid water spots. It just been hard to use the DA machine on those areas specifically.

So far I've used more aggressive pads along with aggressive cleaners/polishes on the bumper and will probably have to do the side mirrors by hand again due to the limited contact surface to apply the DA polisher, but the bug etchings seem stained onto the clear coat due to the Vegas heat.

Will research some bug etching removal solutions as well.

Appreciate your response and help as always.
