there is no "best" Everyone has their own opinion. For me personally, my favorite on black is P21S/S100 I love it on black and on metallics

It may be "Wal-Mart" wax, but McGuires Tech-Wax is hands down the best stuff I have ever used. Goes on easy, wipes right off and leaves a great shine. Cheap, too. All my cars are silver, so I don't know about how it does on a black car...

I liked NXT a lot, I actually did a lot of pre-production testing w/ it both their liquid and paste. I like the paste better, but that's total preference. A lot of people complained about durability, but I got a good amount of time out of it. Would still pick S100 over it though, although S100 is a carnuba, and people seem to think carnubas are a thing of the past. I've yet to see a polymer who can compete on the looks though.

Who makes it, or is that the actual brand name? Is it a paste or liquid? Thanks for the help everyone.

paste, you can get it from www.autogeek.net

It's called P21S, but it's also Called S100, it is the same thing relabled and cheaper. Harley dealers sell S100, it's about 14.95 a bottle. P21S is 24.95 a bottle.

Go to autogeek, type S100 into the search and it will pop up. Otherwise you won't be able to find it and will only be able to find P21S for $10 more

I'm not a fan. It's a great product don't get me wrong. It protects for a long time. But I personally don't really care about something that will protect for months as I add another coat of whatever i'm using every month or two. For me, zaino lacks in the looks department. It brings no depth to the picture and lacks really making paint pop. It reflects great, if a mirror shine is what you want and you don't want much character it's great.

One thing I really laugh at is guys brag about how they put on 4 coats of zaino each month. Why the hell would you do that? The point of zaino is it lasts forever (4 months or so). Putting on more coats is completely pointless and you hit a point where each new coat brings diminishing returns.

Only time I ever use zaino is on non metallic, non pearl whites. But even then, I rarely rarely use it. I have things I think protect better, ( i love the discontinued 40 year old Meguiars #16, as i've had it last 6 months on applications)

for silver, i'd go w/ P21S/S100, look what it does for metallics

With all that said, i'm not taking away from zaino, it's a great product, but I think it is EXTREMELY overhyped

What about Zymol? It is also carnauba cream like S100 right? I know the price of Zymol is way up there, just want to know if we are getting the same thing with S100? How about Rejex? Which kinda clay lubrication and bar would you suggest? Thanks guys!!!

Question for Scott: Would you say canauba cream would be suitable for metallic and lighter paint? Thanks!!!

I like Zaino for it's durability. Can I apply S100 on top of Zaino for an improved shine? I know most wax needs to be applied to the clear coat directly.

I totally agree on Zaino's review, esp on dark cars. I wish Zaino helps with swirls better and has more depth.

I only want to wax every 4-6 mo. since my cars are either covered or garaged pretty much all the time. I don't like wax that strip off after a week or two (referring to Meguire wax).

I bought some S100 and it seems to work well. It's kinda tough to get off but leaves a nice shine. Thanks Hotrod.
