Polish is a step always done prior to waxing. The whole point of a polish is to prep and get rid of defects so the wax could be applied. All wax does is merely protect all the work you've done prior and it also brings out the depth and color of the paint.

Rejex does NOT become part of the paint but like all other sealants it bonds on the molecular level but it is not smaller than the paint itself on a molecular scale, only solvents, such as water, are able to seep into paint. Your clear coat actually soaks up water to a certain degree.

Rejex can also be used ON TOP of a waxed surface BUT let it be known that it is bonding more to the wax more so than the paint itself so as the wax degrades so does the Rejex. It is better to Rejex and then wax after the bonding time.

Interesting, so you're confirming to polish, rejex and then wax? If that's the case, where does swirl remover fit? Polish, Swirl Remover, Rejex, Wax??

I normally use #7 then rejex but last time I wasn't very happy with a spot on the rear bumper above the plate so I used #9 after 7 and I found it not worth the money, it didn't do anything.

What do you recommend for a wax over Rejex? I hear the wax at any Harley store is the same as P21S and great over Rejex. Also, would wax hide / fill microscratches over rejex?
