My 430 Spider arrives Late Feb/early March and I was informed by my dealer that the 4th year Warranty $5900.00 is mandatory by Ferrari not the dealer.

Has anyone had this told to them?

 

It is true.
It is annoying that Ferrari has gone down the path of adding what should just be standard items as options. Why don't they just include that in the msrp of the Spider without listing it as an option?? I have my own personal feelings about that one. Makes one feel "dirty" to have to agree to all the current nonsense!

Yes No. 2 is Giallo Modena (yellow).
After 7 years of sorting out what my preferences are/were as far as
Ferraris go........and playing the "game", trading in and out of new or almost new Ferraris in hopes of getting onto the "msrp" list, I settled upon the Challenge Stradale which I've had for 3 years now. So I went out and got another one . After the CGT..................my sights will be focused on an F40. Then and only then can I say that I'm done.

you really did red stiching on tan leather? thinking about that right now I can not see how it can look good. If you said black on red that would be hot, but tan?? Would love to see pictures when you get the car

 

I REALLY did. I sure hope that it looks good! Perhaps I'm the only person in Ferrari's history to try something so daring.

You mean you have to buy a 4th year warranty for every Ferrari?? Why would you buy an "extended" warranty mandatory, especially if you don't keep anything that long?
